Group project - BEANO studios

Last week we started our work with BEANO studios after being given a brief of the company and its characters. We got randomly split into groups of three and got to choose between four BEANO characters to make a short film about. My group decided to work with Ping the Elastic Man. Ping's first appearance in the magazine was in the very first issue back in 1938. Today he is a lesser known character since his series only ran up until 1940.

This week our group worked on character and story concepts. I worked on giving Ping a new design and also giving him a companion. Together with the power of post-it notes we structured our ideas and after that we planned out a schedule. Right now I'm working on finishing the character/concept art for this Wednesday when we present our ideas for the company.
